It's water with carnitine, which is supposed to help you burn fat and sold in health food stores.

Suntory also has a version that has caffeine in it as well.

Ya, I suspect there's something in the water to burn calories(raise metabolism) or something. If it's from China, it might be Dysentry(sp) or something similar!!! :D:D
