As the subject states, I'm looking to soon sell off two of my 939 processors. The sandy 4000+ athlon64 is brand new, oem, and does not include a HSF. The venice 3000+ includes a HSF, and both chip and HSF have been used gently (no overclock) for the last year. I just upgraded to an opteron 170 (though I got the 4000+ for christmas, but never got around to using it- and now I don't need to!). Any idea of market value, so I can sell it fairly? Thanks! -

I would say the 4000 is worth around $65-70ish, as they are going for $79 new at Newegg with free shipping. The 3000 is probably worth around $45ish.

Market value is what someone is willing to pay ..

The Sandy OEM goes for $79 at Newegg.. The 3000 for $49.88 ..

It depends on how you plan to sell .. I would ask 10% off retail ..

On ebay, I would start the bidding at $1.99 and see what happens..

I'd be willing to take the 4000+ off your hands, assuming you will ship first due to your lack of heatware. I will PM you will an offer.

Heh, well, I could pm you if opened up your profile. The one caveat is that I don't have the 4000+ in my possession at the second- it's at my parent's house (it was a Christmas present), though supposedly my Dad sent it to me in the mail on Monday. I'm not comfortable selling stuff I don't have yet, but I can update the thread if things don't work out currently.
