Market is en fuego

Google profits are up 69% from a year ago.
Apple up 88%.
Amazon up 115%.

Amazon stock shot up 27% alone today.

If only I had money to buy =/

I think the market is going to mule for a bit from here on out. If Im reading the details correctly, most profits are declining in the US but are on the rise in foreign markets which made up the gap. Most foreign economies are tied to US spending so if that peters out, profits from overseas will decline as well.

Of course. that's just my opinion. I make it a point not to touch my portfolio(except for the monthly deposit) until retirement which is still 30 years away. And of course, the 5% I use for fun options plays.

Apple... pfft...

I wish I would have invested in ebay. My across the street neighbor worked for ebay before it went big and scored HUUUUGE on his stock options.

Needless to say, he now lives in a multi-million dollar home and drives fast cars. 🙂

AMD finally surfaced above the water! im in green!

AAPL kicked ass after-market... i was so surprised getting back to my desk after a lengthy meeting ! though im thinking about selling at 105 and shorting it

Yes, the market has been doing great since that bad week in Feb, everyone is all positive and feeling good. Thus I put half of my money into bonds today when the Dow was up 135. I had a good run the last 50 days, but pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered, I'm getting on the sidelines a little bit.

i had amazon and bought at $25
got out at $37 after retreating from $43. today $57 high could've netted me a cool 112% gain if I waited

needless to say, i feel stupid today

damn, i want to start investing, but I'm not sure how much i'm willing to put in, if I want to do it alone, etc etc... ah well.

at least hedge, and sell some equities. Based on the way the roller coaster has been the last couple years, we're going to have another 5-10% decline I predict.
