Market grade memory?

In my opinion you're much better off getting some well known brand from a well known company. Check out Newegg or TigerDirect. It's going to be a little more expensive but it's worth it.

What they are calling 'market grade' is not compatible with NVIDIA chipsets, anyway. Note the remark about VIA and SIS, this means 4-bit wide DRAM components, which are only compatible with a small handful of chipsets (none of which are NVIDIA).

You might as well get DDR2-800 since its only $1 or $2 more and will operate at DDR2-667. Either of these would be fine:

Whew! Thanks.

Went ahead and pulled the trigger on a Crucial 1x2GB kit at Frys.com

Cheaper than the generic memory that wouldn't have worked. $19.99 after rebate!
