Mark Sanchez is officially the worst NFL QB of all time.

I love watching Sanchez eat ass...like..how did he not see the 350lb Guard there??

If you listen you can hear the crowd shouting for Tebow as Sanchez is going downtown

Called it.
Always knew Sanchez would be a washup. Hated watching him play in college, hated all the hype, and could see it clearly. :colbert:

I really think they don't have much of a choice at this stage, assuming the cap hit wouldn't be too terrible (not sure when his contract is up). He has regressed every year and the Jets just need to start over at QB.

Actually, if he was on his original rookie contract, it would have been up after this season.

However, they signed an extension through 2016. From what I've read, it would be prohibitively expensive to cut him this coming off-season (cap hit north of $10 million, when they are already $7 million over the cap for 2013). They could trade him, but I'm thinking it might be hard to find a taker for Sanchez even with a reasonable contract ($8-9 million per year plus bonuses).

However, they can cut him after the 2013 season since the 2014-2016 are essentially option years.

I nearly died laughing when watching the play live. Seeing it again has started it all over again.

What a bum!

I'll never forget that game and the look on Leon Lett's face when he realized what happened.

Yea, neither will I and the LOL when it happened. As fairly pointed out Lett overall had a good career.... Of course if were talking about quirky plays I present you the famed "Snowplow game", the Dolphins and the Pat's were deadlocked in a scoreless tie, the entire field was covered in ice and falling snow, in the 4th Qtr the Pats managed to get in FG range and out came the snowplow to clear a spot for the kicker, the Pats wound up winning 3-0 and advanced to the playoff's only to go to Miami 2 weeks later in a playoff game where they got beat handily by an angry Dolphin team bent on revenge..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KAwOLaZUh-k

Untouched Sanchez was falling even before he hit the lineman. 😀

If I didn't know better, I'd think he was intentionally throwing games...

Belichick: I paid you 20 grand for that? That was the worst flop I've ever seen!

Sanchez's legs: Hey man, you said to make it look like an assident

Quarterbacking is a confidence game, and Sanchez's tank has been emptied. His skills have been moving backward and eroding the last two years after a decent freshman NFL year. His head isn't even in the game any longer.

How can you quote numbers and then try to throw Romo in there. Even in an abysmal game against the Redskins his numbers are off the charts. Sanchez sucks bro. Get over it. Watch him run into his lineman's ass a few more times and maybe it'll sink it.

Why did I throw Romo in there? Well because he will throw 4 picks in a game multiple times a season.

Every QB is going to have a bad day. Romo seems to have 6-7 bad days a season.

As for "watch him run into his lineman's ass a few more times", yeah I don't need to thanks. One really stupid play does not dictate whether a QB is good or bad. And I certainly don't watch Sanchez enough to make any type of call on his play. All I can see are stats and his stats aren't horrific enough to call him the worst QB ever in the NFL. He very well might be the worst starting QB in the NFL but I would still say that Michael Vick more likely takes that honor this year.
