Mario Galaxy

Looks to be a fun game, but you really have to watch these Wii videos with the person playing it in view to totally understand.

Oblivion is great, but it's the gameplay and the whole world that make it great, not graphics alone.

My favorite games of all time would all be considered "very ugly" today, but gameplay is top notch.

What's everyone's take on the new Wii controls?

It seems like everyone who has tried it really likes it. Intuitive, easy to use, yet not overly simplistic (some games will take a lot of skill). Most of the stuff on the show floor is pretty easy, Zelda requires more skill for arrow shooting I hear...Shiggy wanted it that way he says.

I'm becomming a Nintendo fanboy 😱

I've watched a few. I'm just not into the cartoony games anymore.

I am the exact opposite...BF2 and the liek are getting too realistic too be any more fun anymore...

I would slightly agree. It seems that they are trying to go realistic, yet they leave so many damn "realistic" things out. For some small examples, in real life you don't hit reaload and get the exact amount of bullets left. In real life, you have 3 clips, you reload, you lose all the bullets in that clip. If you get shot once in real life combat situation, no way you are still running around like it's no big deal. That list can go on and on. I enjoy the turn for realism, however it's getting old now that's it's totally half assed.

It looked cool for everything except the flight sims. That looked a bit weird in the clip I saw.

You just hold it exactly like you would a paper airplane. From what I've read, it works perfectly.

It looks good. Is it just me or is Mario going away from its original gaming characteristics?

This seems like one of the typical games on a PS2, I'm forgetting the name.

I love Mario but I think they need to go back to what made Mario great in the first place.

I can't wait to see what Zelda on the Wii looks like.

Is it just me or does Nintendo Revolution sound a lot better than Nintendo Wii?

those graphics actually look next-gen. Not what I was expecting from the console that isn't suppose to emphasize flashy effects =)

that looks liek so much fun. honestly, there's no game on the xbox that is as fun as some of the games on nintendo (regular xbox v. gamecube).

i mean i love halo, but zelda and mario bros. damn

Looked like it was a Mario type game to me. Also, keep in mind this is Mario Galaxy, not a game in the standard Mario line.

Yes, but Super Mario Sunshine was also one of the games I was referring to. That game was sweet, nice graphics, but it was a bit weird playing it. The music, the atmosphere didn't really feel Marioish. Maybe it is just me.

I just want to play a classic Mario game that borrows heavily from the old traditional style Mario games.

Now it makes sense. LOL.
