"...Perhaps this is true, and if this is the case, then the police did not respond appropriately...however, not having been at the scene of the crime, and not standing in the shoes of either the victim or the police, hard to determine how each perceived the situation..."

 I was not there when Charles Manson killed those people. Perhaps they were unruly. It's difficult to determine each situation.

JFC, they murdered the guy. Maybe the killers will receive a medal. Would that make you more gleeful?

I guess that's why we have the court system in place.

A court sytem run by.... ?

A: Police.

The killers will get 30 days off with pay. (Flagged for 3 years from now, when the case is thrown out of court)

True, but how can you reasonably expect anyone to perform a coordinated movement while being tasered 3 times? The article even mentions Hale did pull one hand out of his pocket during the struggle, and yelled at the officers that he was trying to comply.

perhaps? oh jeez... if 8-12 cops cannot take down a guy tazered 3 times with NERF bats they need to find a different profession. If any portion of this is true a murder charge is appropriate. Although I doubt even manslaughter will be offered. That is going to be one expensive case I hope they do not settle.

Oh This is why the 2nd amendment exsists if you really think about it.

Hopefully they go to prison for their deeds. The DA should also be investigated for possibly purposely delaying the investigation (colluding with the corrupt cops?). Maybe they can share a prison cell.
