That soldier is a tard. Okay, granted he's messed up by thinking that killing people is fun, but he's a tard because he bragged about it in the media. Stupid people + guns = bad.

Actually its stupid people = media. Your an asshat too.

Oh, and hes not a soldier, hes a marine. Theres a difference.

But your a brainless liberal so theres no point of even trying. We'll get nowhere quick.

ya i noticed that too. That's what he's talkinga bout - you feel good about ridding the genepool of those specimen. Either way i don't see why they wouldn't feel like they're having fun. After a while you get desensitized and detached from the moral aspect of what you're doing, so it would be possible for it too feel "fun"

Well, I don't know about the desensitization and I've never been in a firefight but I have been involved in a few brawls and there is a strange sense of euphoria that comes with it because of all the adrenaline that gets pumped into your system. That's part of what I miss about playing sports (especially football).

yeah,
i mean as a solder that's taken tours thru iraq, kosovo and other places like that, you must've seen enough stuff that makes you numb to the moral aspect of the whole thing. If you shoot (at) people the whole day, at some point you'll stop thinking about what you're actually doing

Full and complete quote:
"Actually it's quite fun to fight them, you know. It's a hell of a hoot. It's fun to shoot some people. I'll be right up there with you. I like brawling. You go into Afghanistan, you got guys who slap women around for five years because they didn't wear a veil. You know, guys like that ain't got no manhood left anyway. So it's a hell of a lot of fun to shoot them."
Good on him. Nothing at all wrong with that quote IMHO.

He ain't got no grammar skills.

Funny, if a "terrorist" said how fun it is to kill Americans, we'd all get pissed about it. Now, I'm not saying it's right....but generally, these sort of generalizations are not right.

Yes, but he could probably kick your ass and have you thanking him for it.

What did you expect him to say?

"Every time I've gotten in an engagement, I've had a good cry afterwards. Then, I'd talk with my commander over tea, about our feelings and then afterwards, we'd hold each other..."

yea he isnt a Canadian.

Lets see, we train these people to be killers. That is their job, to kill. And we get all upset when one of them says something like this?
