MarijuanaMan Gets Robbed!!!!

Is this even real? one guy has his face covered, but the other doesn't. And the one with the crowbar's barely even swinging it.

I know a guy who sold medical marijuana who was ambushed in his home and beaten brutally and actually almost died due to being tied up and not having his inhaler for several hours. He got a chipped spine, broken ribs, cuncussion etc, etc. They were sure he had some huge cash pile somewhere in his house so they holed up there for hours trying to get him to talk. They ended up leaving with just some pot, a couple grand and his car which they ditched soon after. I guess they didn't realize that his business was legal and he used a bank like anyone else.

Unfortunately when the ambulance/police showed up they decided he needed to be airlifted to Stanford and he being in shock and not realizing the cost, signed the paperwork. He ended up with a 20k+ helicopter bill his insurance didn't pay for. Then he got kicked out of the hospital 2 day later because he wouldn't stop smoking joints in his hospital room.

Wow, that's crazy... used to watch this guy all the time years ago.

Looks real to me. Hopefully those fuckers are in jail.

"These guys are now in jail , i guess the gun was real, so as a result they face a mandatory min of 5 years in jail".

One of the big problems they are anticipating in Colorado is that banks can't, under federal law, knowingly take deposits that are reciepts for drug sales, and credit card companies will seize any money from pot sales also. So places that sell marijuana are going to have large amounts of cash and no place to put it.

This is not true. At all.

Looks completely fake to me. Never heard of the guy but after watching a minute or so of his video...wow what a fucking loser.

kinda bring it on themselves, that's why pharmacies get robbed so often but this is probably easier.

I'd have to agree. Posting videos of you flaunting your huge bags of weed and smoking it? Pretty stupid and you are bringing it on yourself.

Straight from the bottom of the first article

Smaller banks better prospects Lance Ott, chief executive officer of Guardian Data Systems in Thousand Oaks, Calif., says smaller domestic banks and credit unions may be more likely than larger financial institutions to service the medical marijuana industry. Though in some cases, bigger banks will essentially grandfather in existing accounts, but not accept new ones. "There's a huge stigma associated with the industry."

For the past three years, Ott's been "trying to offer honest, secure services to an emerging industry," and he says he only works with those businesses that are licensed and set up properly under state law.

"It's been one heck of a nightmare," says Harank, who recently opened a bank account and switched her credit card account to Colorado Springs State Bank, the only bank in the state now openly offering accounts to those in the medical marijuana industry.

To your point, however, it does seem like major banks are cracking down

The largest U.S. bank, Bank of America Corp, said it started withdrawing services from dispensaries after receiving a warning from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration in late 2007 or early 2008. The DEA said it has also told other big banks that they face potential legal liabilities if they do business with the dispensaries.

One of the articles also says Wells Fargo is not allowing them either. But yes, my point was that it's damn near impossible for them to use the banks now that the Feds are leaning on the banks saying it's still illegal under Federal Law. They have a ways to go...
