Marijuana Alternatives: Whats the deal on these?

I've been seeing quite a few sites that boast about their wide selection of weed alternatives. I've been searching for a site that has some in-depth information on these kind of products but so far all I can find are the vendors who carry the stuff. Has anyone here ever tried those kind of herbs? How do they compare to weed?

They aren't going to compare to real marijuana in the slightest.

At the most, they might relax you and give you a bit of a smoke buzz.. but they don't make you high.

They're plants that are grown and dried so that they look like bud. Problem is, there's no THC on them, so you might as well smoke a banana peel for all the good it does you.

I doubt these substances contain any kind of reactive chemical compounds whatsoever. You might as well go get some herbal viagra for all the good it'll do you..

make one. Run just the right amount of current through high resistance wire and you can get right up to the temps it takes to vaporize thc, but not burn organic matter.

Just because cannabis is illegal doesen't mean the utensils to use it are also.

Has anyone ever tried smoking Kava? I've tried drinking it with literally no effects, but I wonder if smoking it is more potent.
