Mapquest Directions Wrong

Directions from MapsOnUs: Go less than .1 miles and then Turn LEFT onto an unnamed street hahaha!!

But Mapquest does suck, too. It took me an extra 25 minutes to get to an address once.

I have never used mapblast, and will try it out, but I have used Expedia.com and never had a problem.

🙂

I used mapquest for directions to a concert once, it put me about 15 miles away, in the middle of some dinky neighborhood, i was looking for a 40,000 seat arena, i was like, wtf. Luckily the house that the the directions led me to had this old guy sitting out front, who told me EXACTLY how to get there, weird.

i guess that's how mapquest works. it found a guy that will tell you the destination. LOL

I don't trust any of those... I use MS Mappoint (local program) which has an "update routes" feature.

Did the street have compass point after it? IE. York Street East ?

Yeah most of those sites are horrible. In my experience they've always made the route more complicated or just plain wrong altogether.

The only site that I've found to be accurate is http://www.stcum.qc.ca. But that's for Montreal public transit... So it tells you which bus/metro you have to take to get from one address to another. At least it can get that much straight.

But yes definitely choose Mapblast before Mapquest! Although I have seen both make mistakes or be unable to find addresses.

meh, I usually don't need a map anyway... I'm just very lazy.
