Maple Tree Sprouts - $5

As a kid I found it amusing watching the seed/pod things flutter in our front yard. 🙂

Maples are everywhere in Ohio, lol at paying for them.

Hell of an idea. My Japanese maple keeps starting new sprouts...maybe I should save more of them and sell them instead of just hitting them with Round-up.

My wife has 3 or 4 in a pot already...hey...$15-$20 mad money!

For some real fun, split the seed pod along the seam, but leave the halves attached to the wing. Remove the seed, then stick the wing to your nose with a half on each side.

Well, that was fun 40 years ago anyway :^D

I have a big maple in my backyard, and those suckers grow like weeds back there. Same thing with the little oak tree sprouts.

Hey don't laugh! As ridiculous as this sounds, it actually works. My ex did something very similar and made $40-$120 per week.

Haha, there is one maple tree outside my window at work and a few weeks back I found HUNDREDS of these, they appear very damn easy to sprout.

no shit. just from my tree alone i must have about 1 BILLION wirley coptor seeds laying all over the place. multiply that by an entire town full of 60 year old maple trees = 2093478123489123849123712357237590323854 seeds everywhere. you can pick up arm fulls off the sidewalks and toss them in the air. only good thing is that the kids love them.

I have 10's of 1000's of those sprouts in my front yard. Every once in a while, I consider grabbing some large pots and putting the sprouts in the pots. Then, head to the back of my field somewhere with the pots and leave them for 2 or 3 years. Perhaps even pruning them once or twice.

Then, I can sell them the way nurseries sell small trees to people - $25 apiece. I could get rich off maple trees. And oak trees.
