i have a few things ive always wondered about....
here it goes:
what is the difference between ECC and non-ECC RAM? does it make a difference? which is faster?
what is the deal with the ratings, like "2.5-2-2" or "2-2-2"
i know the first number is the CAS latency, which is the speed the ram "talks to itself" i guess you could say, or maybe that is totally wrong, but anyways, what does all that garbage mean?
and what is faster, besides benchmarks (which tells you basically nothing that will be useful to you), in games/desktop use?
