Not sure if this belongs in this sub-forum or somewhere else...
Pic for reference:
One thing I'm about to do is uninstall and get rid of all references to the Wacom tablet and all Windows Tablet PC/Pen & Touch references and services.
[This is all in my effort to get Battlefield 3 to stop freezing on me - I've tried everything else of which one could possibly imagine, and then some...]
But my other concern: there are way too many drivers listed in Device Manager for input devices. I'm thinking these are all related to either driver uninstalls and reinstalls, or, more likely, a few different keyboards and mice that have been installed on this system.
Looking into some of those, the hardware IDs seem to match with the Razer keyboard, for instance, but with a minor difference in the final characters of the ID. The devices have also been switched around different USB ports over the course of time, so not sure if that had an effect.
But, what would be the best way to handle this? Just uninstall ALL of those, including the named drivers? Should I just "start from scratch" by installing the specific device drivers after all that is cleared up?
