Where are you seeing the buy 2 get 1 free? I see the movies but nothing about a 2/1 offer.

Paramount and Dreamworks just dropped bluray support. That's a huge blow to blu-ray. Hence, the tides have turned to HD-DVD. It's seesawing, but this is the biggest blow yet in my opinion. Content always wins in the end.

For those that got in on the 10% off all HD-DVDs for 2007 deal last year, this is an even better deal. Amazon applies the 10% off promotion BEFORE they subtract the price of the third movie, so you get an extra few dollars off. 3 HD-DVDs came out to $33.91 for me.

Mmmm........ Right in time for X-mas

Thanks for link and post. Picked up V for Vendetta, Shaun of the Dead, and The Last Samurai... I had already recently bought Batman Begins and 300.

Help me out here, what three HD DVD movies did you get that ended up costing only $33.91?

The best I could see was $38.90...

Thanks!

$60 - 10% = $6 Total comes to about $54 - $20 for the free movie promotion = $34. Free shipping.

I didn't get to use the 10% off though, so mine was around $39 or so as well.

Added Blu Ray plus a link to the HD-DVD link.

Serenity won't be on Blu Ray as Universal is exclusive to HD-DVD. That move, for me, was my killer app and a big reason I went HD-DVD....I freaking love that movie. Also, it's expected that Warner Bros may announce HD-DVD exclusivity next week.
