Thanks chiwawa626 for pointing out something I've wondered myself before. It's even better when guys honk their car horn, wolf whistle, or just stare at an attractive woman. As if that will get them anywhere with her. How is a woman supposed to react to that other than with utter disdain and to think they're rude barbarians? What are they thinking?! Therin lies the rub, they don't do just that. Gah.

The only thing worse than construction workers are some latinos.
Now, I'm not racist. I have a couple very good, awesome friends who are Mexican.

It seems, however, that a large percentage of these guys will roll up in their pickup or walk by on the street and give the nastiest, lewdest stare/smile or gesture when they see my g/f. Really, it's just plain gross. I know of no woman, hispanic or not, who would even consider that behavior marginally tolerable. It baffles me how these guys can consider this behavior anything resembling "normal" or "acceptable."

Yet many of these guys get chicks 😕. Of course I'd rather keep my no-GF status than be such an asshat. One of these days I'll fix that (#3 on my list of Things to Do?)--the GF part, not the asshat part 🙂.
I'll mention things I'm thinking if prompted (moderating myself has always ended in worse situations for me than letting it all slip--slight offense has always proven better than major miscommunication), but even then never in any lewd way. You gotta wonder where some people were taught respect for other human beings.
Is it so hard to ogle at and mentally undress others, yet respect, talk to and care about them at the same time?
...Apparently so for some people.

Edit: Oh yeah, :camera:s or ban--why? Because no one gets banned for it, so it seems an absurd thing to ask for.

So what kind of rules of decorum are there for checkin out women?
Simple, just use discretion and subtlety, avoid lewdness.

Yeah I mean blurting out "damn, check out that a$$" is damn classy......
