Needs to be FWD....'cause I'm an upstate NYer.
Currently drieve a 94 Probe GT....which may have been a girl car at one point but is now unisex due to age. Good MPG's are a must. No SUVs or trucks. Leaning towards a 2 door but would consider a 4. Ideally, I'd get an American made car with a japanese engine/tranny. The PGT fits that bill nicely...but it's just....old. Seems as tho American made cars are cheaper than similarly aged asian cars....so if I get a Ford/GM/Chrysler with a Mitsu/Mazda/etc engine/tranny I'd be very happy. Also, GM's , etc are so common at a dealer auction that I have access to, so they do go pretty cheap. I just can't think of a GM that I like.
Looking for about a 5 year old car, so ~ 2000, 2001 probably.
I'd think about getting a 97 PGT...but that's still a little older than I'd like and they're not exactly common. Toyota Celica seems OK. They look badass in black. Thought about an Eclipse but they do seem a bit on the girly side. What else?

Not one of those cars are manly. Might as well get a Jetta.

Well....beyond Mustangs and Camaros.....some people don't consider anythingn manly.

I forgot about the Prelude. How much do those 2.2 vtec's put out?

How about something more manly than an eclipse, miata, mini cooper, NEW BEETLE, etc?

No RWD camaro....although I do like them. Bad on gas too.

Edit: forgot the new beetle. Thanks bonkers!

Get an F350. It's manly and if you ever have to change the timing belt Goosemaster can do it for you.

Got a black f150 4x4 now. Now that's manly. Sucks for a daily driver tho. 15 mpg; and I hate it in the snow even with 4wd. I just found 200 hp for the 2.2 vtec. Not bad. That puts in on par with the old DSM Talon's....and faster than my PGT.

Not crazy about the styling of the 2000 maxima's. I did think about them. I'll have to check some more pics. Good suggestions so far! Keep 'em coming!
