Giant pussies see this as an "OMFG! MANIAC bicyclist an the loose in NYC!!!" and want their mom to make it stop.

I guess if what passes for a badass around here is someone who is not fucking outraged by video of some dude who is just not following the rules then, yes, I am a badass.
 
Those are some wicked skills coupled with epic douchebaggery. No reason to take something entertaining and going out of one's way to fvck with people. Its especially asinine to make buses, who think they are doing the dude and their careers a favor by trying not to hit him, slam on the brakes and possible injure passengers. There's got to be a better way for this guy to get his props without making others want to 18 wheeler treads on his back.

That's pretty strong stereotyping; one group of bikers who made a Youtube video doesn't represent everyone, everywhere. Most serious cyclists I know are not happy about the behavior of immature riders like this because it gives the rest of us a bad name. And for the record, I see a lot more people doing dumb things on motorcycles than I do on bicycles - whizzing by at over 100 MPH, doing wheelies on the highway, weaving in & out of traffic at high speeds, etc.
 
Here in Singapore I'm praying for an immediate ban for bicycles on roads. Who the fvck they think they are hogging bus lanes during peak hours when they are tons of commuters taking buses to work. Some can't even ride straight FFS, but no because "I can pay $10k to pedal a bike which is the hardest skill in the world look at how awesome I am."
 
I didn't read the article or the thread but can only conclude that this is more proof that all ciclists are assholes.
