OK, so you read an article. Good for you. Go read his manifesto and read the findings. Both are publicly available online. Then come to your own conclusion. IMHO, his complaints are plausible.

Possible that his firing was due to his unfit to be a cop? Yes.

Possible that his firing was due to racism/racists? Of course.

But so far, I still do NOT see any neutral third party said so. From all the articles that I read so far (not just one that I cited), I do not see it.

As I said, I am open mind to see any new evidences from others than his own words.

Since there really isn't any 3rd party investigation going on, you're going to have to rely on your own deductive reasoning, hope you can manage that. ;)

My reasoning skill is pretty average, but there is to be said about it all when I can count more stories of LAPD corruption and racism than I have fingers and toes for that have been reported by a 3rd party source.

That's why I said more than once that I am more than open to read/listen to any new evidences. I just can not make my mind up just solely from the guy's own words.

Maybe later we can get the FBI and such to dig further and see the truth.

Yeah, on top of that, I don't think the LAPD wants this guy alive, evident by their shoot first, ask questions later with the two truck shooting incidents. He has things to say and the LAPD is going to do what they can to keep him silent.

This is pretty standard.. here in Seattle our police had drones before they recently grounded them likely because the mayoral race is upcoming.

The issue would be if they were armed drones, which they are not

I bet it would be an issue if you purchased a drone and used it to put the mayor under 24/7 surveillance.

Department heads state to the troops:
We need to "get this guy ASAP before he does any more damage".

It is up to the officer to decipher the word get and damage. :whiste:

LAPD answers to the LA city which answers to the public (in theory).

Yeah but that theory doesn't seem to work in the real world.

Until it directly effects a person they simply don't give a shit. The cops have been pulling fucked up shit for quite a while now but no one gives a shit because it hasn't happened to them. They don't realize that by allowing it to happen it absurdly increases the chances that said fucked up things will happen to them.

By the time enough people say "enough" I fear it will be way to late.

Are you being monitored by a drone 24/7?

I don't know.

They have the ability, without a warrant from what I understand, to do so at their whim. If a judge signs off on it and the normal warrant procedures need to be followed I have much less of a problem.

The government has much simpler means to monitor you besides flying a drone.

I provided article to back up my statements and did not blow smoke out of my butt like a typical P&N posters. Care to provide article/link/source to dispute my statements? :colbert: Or are you the one that not really all there?

Either you're willfully ignorant, blind, or stupid that you don't see all the shits that are wrong about the LAPD. Everything about their corruption, racism, abuse is online. Some of the well documented ones are even in movies. Like I said, if you're too damn retarded to figure out the events that I'm taking about, just stop.

tl;dr you're retarded.

Edit: I have friends and acquaintances in LAPD and the LA DA office.

The guy they supposedly kicked to the head was a white guy. They hate everyone equally dont take it personnel black people..

In the past they were way more racist like 1960s 1970s but they integrated dept so there are actually more minorities than whites in the dept. All they care about is blue. Everyone else is a peasant. White black brown or yellow.

I was thinking about this yesterday some. The real issue is that people demand 'change', 'more accountability', etc - but NOTHING SPECIFIC.

The LA / Orange County area voters need to push for officials to take very specific actions. Vote them in, or out, based on their support of those positions.

Some examples would be :

1 : Cut expenses

10% across the board pay cut in LAPD pay. This should be done in a tone that says 'The citizens pay you, and they aren't happy. They elected us on a platform that demanded we do this to you.'.

In other words, let them know who the boss is.

2 : Form civilian commissions to review police brutality cases. Police can be on these so they can represent the view of the police, but should be in the minority. Civilians ultimately decide what is and is not ok, not the Police.

Give these commissions power to fire bad cops.

3 : Put into law that police who are accused of serious infractions, like the 6 who shot up that truck, can be immediately suspended without pay.

Making it a law is necessary to invalidate the Union contracts. Union contracts are why the police cannot be fired without review.

Goodness, does anyone bother to read before hit the reply button?

From the article that I cited:

You can read the rest of the article.

From the articles that I read so far, no racist/racism found in his dismissal case from the LAPD. He could not make it as a cop = failure (even the review board and its members said so) ===> pull the race card to justify his murderous action afterward.

Do you have anything new that you care to share? Something about his dismissal was due solely to racism and nothing else. I am all ears.

The judge from his case has stepped down to to corruption allegations. Makes you wonder

KTLA says unconfirmed reports of Federal officers currently in gun battle with Dorner in Big Bear.

So far all that's confirmed is:
Vehicle reported stolen in Big Bear. (white pickup for people in LA that want to make up some "don't shoot me" bumper stickers)
Resident reported Dorner sighting.

This could also allow open season for gang members going after the LAPD or any local LEO; deflect the blame/heat

I'm disappointed that it sounds like a full shootout now. I would have much preferred that he slowly and methodically pick at the LAPD for years, taking out a cop every few months.

From what I am hearing they really don't know where he is, they are trying to get to the downed deputies.

It sounds like 2 officers down, suspect escaped in a vehicle. They setup road blocks.

apparently he fled the vehicle and is now surrounded in a cabin. the shots were fired from the cabin.

He had 2 hostages, women, one escaped and notified police and has confirmed to reporters that it was indeed Dorner.
