Ok, so I think that Mango should allow me to text a group of people and have all the replies come back into one place. Is this true, and how do I make it work?

Yes, just start a new text conversation, add in whoevers names you want, hit send, and then any replies from them to that conversation will wind up in that same text window.

It'll send and receive those texts as MMS messages rather than SMS to help keep them organized. You can disable that in the settings, though apparently it may effect how they are grouped together in one conversation (I've never turned that setting off, so I dunno)

I tried that, they all went to separate threads based on the individual

It might be disabled for you.

Open settings, swipe to the right to Applications, then tap Messaging. Make sure the group text option is enabled.

This. I've never had a problem with it on my phone (HTC Arrive) so I'm guessing that option got disabled on your phone somehow.

I get the same thing on ATT on my Focus, I'll send a group text to a my friends and receive the replys back individually. The only time this actually worked for me is when someone sent a group text out and I replied back, everyone got the text and i was getting texts back saying who's this? haha

Definitely have it enabled.

I wonder if I need to talk to AT&T about it? I would definitely rather have the grouping, it would be really great.
