HEllo...
This is probably an elementary question, but what do I need to do with the 649mg Mandrake Linux ISO file I just downloaded??

Thx...

you need to burn it to a cd then boot from the cd. unfortuanetly i havnt gotten the mandrake version to burn correctly or im just downloading it wrong. i downloaded the corel iso and everything went fine. good luck

use Cd burning program like EZcd creator to burn it. Select "create CD from image" and select that .iso file as the image.

I have nero, does nero work for it? I don't think it does or I am not doing it right. Let me know....

Thanks

Nero will not recognize the file as an image, but you can override Nero with the default settings for images for burning. By default, Nero likes *.nrg files. Just search for ALL files and select the ISO without changing any other settings.

Try a CDRW first, if you don't feel so lucky.

In Nero, go to File -> Burn Image, then select the *.iso file you just downloaded... After that it should burn fine...
