I will be setting up a linux box soon.

It will be assigned the tasks of:

Routing (gateway), firwall, webserver (hosting 3 small sites), File Server, and print server.

Server specs:

P233 w/mmx
192mb sdram
7gb hd
2 10/100 NICS
2 Cd roms (6x, and 40x)
...etc.

My 3com 10/100 hub will be connected to the second nic.... and 2 computers will be connected to the hub.

I'm fairly new to the Linux OS... but I am willing to learn.

Now my question...

1. Since I wont be need all the extra apps, linux distros offer... Will Mandrake Linux Corporate Server 1.0 be perfect for my needs?

2. How user friendly is CS 1.0?

Any and all insights will be appreciated.

Thanks

Check out www.e-smith.com ... This linux version does it ALL, firewalls, printservers, email, webserver, etc.. almost automatically. A friend of mine that runs a network for a University told me about this a couple of days ago when I was looking into setting up a Linux box. Once setup, you use the WEB, yes the Web, to do all your administration tasks,.. click and point. Only time you need to touch the keyboard on the server is if you have to change the IP address. The demo is free, either dl or they will send you one. Demo comes with no support, etc.. For a 1 year subscription of about $600, you get 24hr support, etc..
really sounds nice.
