MANDRAKE 8.2 AND ES1969 SOLO DRIVERS

im having trouble getting my sound to work with mandrake 8.2 on my 1800T Compaq laptop
i was running redhat and the sound would work fine on it but now that i have mandrake installed i can seem to get it to work
does anyone know of a way to get the drivers off my redhat cd and install them on mandrake
any help would be greatly appreciated or another place i can download it from

yeah thats what i thought too but i guess not maybe i had a bad copy

beacuse even 8.1 loaded fine w sound
