Firewall (someone mentioned) Symantec VelociRaptor. Secure, cheap, and KILLER VPN functionality..

Switches: 2950's are great (I have two buildings full), and backbones I have 5000's, 5500's, and 4000's.. All nice units (the 5xxx series are old though, replaced by the 40xx series). The 40xx's with the right sup cards will do traffic shaping and VLAN's..

I also have ONE 3COM 8 port GbaseT switch.. Gets the job done, but if it was RIGHT in the middle of a budget crunch, it would've been a Cisco there as well..
