There is something seriously wrong with Japanese culture. And it is all our fault, seriously.

The post WW 2 occupation brought in a huge influx of Americans and their culture and 60+ years later Japan is still feeling its after effects.

The sexualization of pre-teens though is most likely caused by the fact that many Japanese males can't find a suitable partner and thus it creates this strange cultural side effect.

Either way the country is in major trouble long term.
