I think its great that he has lost that much. But I can't conceive of how he got to that weight in the first place without dying already.

once you pass the 500 mark and are bed ridden, then it's someone else's fault cuz they are still feeding ya and stuff.
I've always wondered about that too. But I guess it's just part of the problem... they know the bedridden person is hungry and I guess it's just easier to give them what they ask for instead of what they need. Personally I would be giving the fat person apples, lots of apples, lets see you get fatter on that, lol.

Quite easily. Apples aren't really that healthy... unless he stops eating because he gets sick of eating just apples. Oranges and other citrus are alot healthier, and even better but still sweet and tasty are red peppers.

I CAN'T STAND PEOPLE THAT SAY NO MATTER WHAT THEY DO THEY CAN'T LOSE WEIGHT.

Like, uhhh, "I excerised every day and only ate 1 meal a day, a bagel, and drank 5 glasses of water, for a whole month and I didn't lose any weight." Bullshit! If you don't eat, you can't gain weight.

That's why EVERYONE who gets the gastric bypass surgery loses weight, because you CAN'T EAT AS MUCH FOOD. Look at the reality shows. I don't see anyone on the Biggest Loser or Survivor packing on the pounds. If you are that overweight, you brought it on yourself by eating way too much food and bad food at that.

I'm 460lbs and it's pure genetics. I haven't overeaten any time in my life.

I bet you exercise alot too.

I'll go one further. I bet you never drink 40+ ounce soft drinks. There's never one on you desk that you slurp from all day long.

I'm hoping you weren't serious.

There are some genetic factors, but it's not "pure genetics."

I hate it when people blame obesity on their gene and metabolism. It may be a factor, but no can gain weight if you exercise and burn more calories than you take in. It is just a lame excuse for being fat.
