Some people are also smart enough to know that money can be backtraced by the non-internet police.

EDIT: Especially for 13k. That is probably about 3 months work for the average public school teacher.
 
Kind of depends on how you use "consider" in this context. The M-W definition states careful thought, i.e. exclusive of fleeting "What if I..." thoughts. I think it's perfectly understandable that he didn't seriously consider stealing 13k of what was probably drug money that would lead to him being violated, sent to prison, and violated again.
 
I'd immediately go to vegas and cash it all in for chips, play a few rounds, cash out the chips and leave.

Anyways, I don't see what's the big deal. Some of us try to live ethically. Some of us also don't take everything spoken or written absolutely literally.

It is most likely that I would have done the same. Don't get me wrong though, I would think about and completely regret giving it back. The only thing that would make me feel better about it is that I believe in Karma.

For anyone who says they wouldn't think about keeping it is a liar. No doubt about it.

You don't really need to keep that money anyway if you're going to be a teacher. That's what they make in a week, hence the reason why the system is going bankrupt and only one party has the guts to cut their budgets.
 
Yes - definitely the definition of "stupid." I mean, can you imagine what the world would be like if our children were being taught by people of scruples and ethics? Jeez, that would suck.

Even figuring conservatively working 40 weeks out of the year, at 13K per week, that's over 500K a year. Yeah, you're FULL OF SHIT.
