Doubt it...there's just an abundance of drunken idiots and annoying tourists in this town that all need to be removed from the gene pool :)

I'll have to go down later to see if they clobbered the same poles as last time, or how far apart they are.

agreed...but someone had mentioned earlier that power poles are meant to break on the bottom to minimize damage to cars...they just need to replace them with steel for those idiots.

Where do you get this information?

The poles we order at the electric cooperative where I work are definitely not designed to snap off at the bottom. Damage done to cars is insignifigant when compared to live primary voltage lines on the ground.
