Adam's great. It's a dopey, yet sarcastic wit that works well for the show. Not a fan of eating competitions but that's not really why I watch it. There's some great looking restaurants that I'd love to try. He hits local favorite places and not the flashiest or fanciest places that review well with traditional critics.

I've been to the place where he failed the monster breakfast burrito, and Beau Jo's Pizza. Both are awesome.

I go to Jack n Grill's all the time... love their breakfast burritos... but will never try the 7lb burrito.

Beau Jo's was ok... went to the one in the Springs (the only GOOD one) ... too much crust... not enough pizza in my opinion.

Cherry Cricket is AWESOME for burgers... love it!

Thats what I was thinking. He life expectancy must not be very high. He also must have a butthole made of iron . I dont know how he can do all those "hot" challenges & not go through searing pain in his next bowel movement.

The show is ok, I've watched it a few times, but I wonder if the guy will live another 10 years with the mountains of food he eats on the show

I went to Beau Jo's just recently and it wasn't as good as when I went with my parents years ago. We'd usually go to the Idaho Springs one when we were passing through there, and at that point that was pretty much the closest one to us. Now there's a lot more and I think the quality is suffering because of it.

Beau Jo's is still good stuff. Beats a lot of other pizza places.

my daughter turned 17 last week and wanted to take on the 7 pound burrito for her birthday. she failed, didnt even come close she got about 1/3 of it down.

http://www.jackngrill.com/

i have no idea how anybody could eat all that. the record is 13 minutes and who ever did that must have a huge stomach AND a mouth that is burn proof because that thing is hot (stove heat) when it comes out of the kitchen. we took the left overs home in a lasagna pan and it was till warm 3 hours later.

seriously

especially after the meat-heavy challenges, he's eaten 4-5 pounds at a time, I don't know how he doesn't throw up

I don't see him living very long...but I do enjoy the show. They can stop the stupid interludes where he's "preparing" for this food match...that's stuff just stupid filler...just give us another restaurant visit instead.

He won't have any major health problems I bet. Allegedly, he eats really healthy and exercises a ton when not filming. When he is filming he eats like 1 totally bad meal every 4 or 5 days. It's not like he's a habitually unhealthy guy. Hell, he'll probably outlive lots of people in this thread.
