Man.... tonight sucked... car wreck... update

Me driving about 40 mph down the road. My passenger said/did something to get my attention for a second.. i turn.. then turn my head back to see a stopped car turning left that was over a hill. I tried braking but i have no clue if i ever even got to the pedal or what.. i know my mind saw me swerving and braking, but i dunno if i actually did at all.. anyways... hit the other car at decent speed.

2 of their passengers had to leave on a stretcher.. but firemen said they'd be ok.. i sure hope so... all i could do was stand there in awe..... trying not to puke or cry.. firemen kept comin up to me askin if my head was alright.. and i kept sending them away...

after i got ticketed and everything got towed away, i walked home ( i lived like 4 blocks from the scene and didnt feel like gettin a ride from the cops ) i got home and suddenly my forehead felt like it was on fire.. i checked the mirror and it was pussing up and burned from the airbag.... now i got a minor headache and my forehead feels like its on fire.

Im frickin done driving 🙁
 
So you rear ended them? That sucks, my sister did the same thing sorta about 2 months ago...she hit a disabled guy in a rental...lol
 
i was driving a 94 crown victoria.. they had a 2000 grand am.. luckily i have state farm insurance.. so i should be fine insurance wise.. besides paying out my ass... but i dont give a crap about that right now... there were either 4 or 5 people in the other car.. i dont even know for sure.. i was in a shock/adrenaline stage... after calling 911 i was so frustrated that i threw my phone at my wrecked car... stayed in one piece too...
 
Maybe you should see a doctor despite the fact that you don't feel seriously injured. I rear-ended somebody once. Now, I really give my full attention to the road. I hope everybody recovers from this. What happens next with this (are they suing you or anything?)
 
My girlfriend ripped off her bumper as she was pulling into park...

sorry man, that really sucks. You gotta be careful.

just the other day i almost got in a 3 way accident. I was backing out of my driveway the other day, and some lady driving one of those new acura SUVs come shooting around the corner and down my street, sees me already half into the lane i was backing into, and swerves around me;She failed to notice the audi 2.8l tt quatro coming down the lane she crossed into. the audi pulled his handbrake and spun 180degrees to a stop and she barely missed his rear fender while swerving back into my lane. Very lucky all of us were within 150 feet of each other so it could have been a 3 way accident.

edit: go to ER. Your airbag could have given you brain damage or hearing damage, you need to check it out immediatly.

I can't stand people that sue in this type of situation. Just what someone needs -- lose your car, get injured, and then get sued.
 
i have no clue what gonna happen next.. they werrent pissed or anything.. just wanted everyone to be ok... i feel the same.. and my main reason for not goin is cuz i've been in a major accident before (not my fault on that one) and i was knocked out for 3 hours... had a headache for 6 weeks.. i know what a concusion feels like... and im fairly confident that i dont have one.. and if i go for my burned head or neck or whatever.. they aint gonna do much but give me pain meds and charge my mom a crapload... since my separate medical insurance plan hasnt kicked in yet
 
The burning on your forehead is common. It is caused by the substance that is on the airbag that is involved in the reaction that lets it inflate so fast. I'm not sure how you treat it (I assume a doctor does) so you might just want to go have em look at it. I hope everybody turns out to be ok.

Agreed. You should seek medical attention. Because of the shock of it you could be more badly hurt than you think. Hope everything works out.🙁
