First off, this is like the third time its happened, and it was always Republicans. We need some way to hold parties accountable for shit like this.

2nd: That doesnt excuse illegals, felons, and dead people from voting. That shit still needs to be dealt with as well.

Rockingham County Sheriff Bryan Hutcheson’s office said there was no indication that the activity was widespread in their jurisdiction and said the conduct “appears to be limited in nature.”

I am sure that if a muck raker was to check out Dem registrations efforts; they will also find a couple of bad apples.

Bad apples will exist everywhere; they just need to be found and removed.

Now you are just talking crazy. Batshit crazy. What a partisan hack you are. ;)

Completely partisan ; just allow the image to reflect along multiple mirrors aligned at 45 degree along the center of the political aisle. :whiste:

There's always voter fraud idiots deny it. Reps and Dems exploit their specialties.

Ah, Harrisonburg. I'll be there tomorrow. I know where the referenced store is - wife had a friend who worked there a few years ago.

One more reason I don't believe in registration drives. I don't agree with allowing candidate groups to register people. It leaves too much room for fraud from both Republicans and Democrats. If you want to register, go to the library or the dmv.

When I first moved here, I had one of these groups ask me to register as I was going into a grocery store. I declined. I didn't trust that they would actually turn in my registration when they saw my party affiliation. Seems I was right that these kind of things do happen.

The more Americans who vote the less Republicans will be elected because they are foreigners to the American way of thinking. Only they have the motive, the hypocritical morality, and the ethical sleaziness and the traitorous self righteousness to massively try to suppress the vote, the essential principle of American democracy. Republicans are moral scum. Only they are really entitled to vote. This is why these bastards hate entitlement. They are infected with the worst and most disgusting form of it, the arrogantly contemptible, but deservedly well earned sense of worthlessness they feel for themselves and project onto other groups.

So now we have to wonder why he threw the forms away.
Virginia does not register voters by political party, so it would be difficult for someone to discard forms from their political opponents. Rockingham County Registrar Doug Geib said that his office was able to process the recovered forms after receiving advice from the Virginia State Board of Elections.

Johnson said he was contacted by the mother of one of the voters whose forms was filled out. Johnson said the mother told him her son had just turned 18 and had registered to vote at Blue Ridge Community College.

In Oregon you can register online, confirm your registration online and the ballot is mailed to you. You either mail it back or drop it off.

Why isn't the rest of the country using such a simple and effective solution?

Control more than anything else.

Plus, Oregon has loads of other problems so not everyone takes them seriously when it comes to new ideas. Their public education is atrocious for one. And as progressive as they are about gay rights and shit like that, they still have some of the most ancient/draconian divorce laws in the country.

I hope he destroyed my registration form. VA Republicans are especially known for being retarded. They're Virginia Republican-style Retarded. I mean, if you think I lack the ability to think independently, then think about the people in the 5 mile radius around me. The people in NoVA are more logical, but most of them are modernly liberal/neoconservative for selfish reasons. A true Citizen Statesman has never come from Washington. John Tyler was a true Citizen and he will be forever. Grover Cleveland and Thomas Jefferson were True Citizens. Washington was kind of phony, if you know what I mean but he was okay and John Adams was really more culpable, given the education and higher IQ of the latter. Harding was the first President to have a radio and he took all of the alcohol for himself and a few of his friends like a damn monarch but he was a good man and he probably died at the right time since Hoover was working on changing Harding's heart.

In ANY state, the vast majority of felons are out walking around, on parole.
Suppose they didn't hurt anyone? The vast majority of felons didn't hurt anyone. The vast majority of true criminals are still walking around.

and once they're off parole they are allowed to vote.

And no one said they wouldnt.

Except the whiny brats who have no argument but feel compelled to make one anyway. Then they win the argument with what passed for "logic" these days, then sit around talking about dumb everyone else is.

Oregon has a pretty good education system, actually. Not the best. Far from the worst though.

Shouldnt this be the "The more foreigners who vote the less Republicans will be elected because they are foreigners to the American way of thinking"?

To Moonie's way of thinking, foreigners are automatically in tune with the American way of thinking. For everyone else, the more you dislike America and want it radically changed, the more American you are. Has to do with self-hate and hallucinogenics, I suspect.

Actually its ranked 47th in the country, actually.

:colbert:
Well - maybe he meant Oregon's system is far from the D.C. and Mississippi systems. :D
