People did crazy thing 4000 years ago, 2000 years ago, and will continue to do so today. But now with a greater population you'll have a greater chance of finding more wackos out there..

And with everyone's "trainwreck" fascination and the media doing whatever it can to sell advertising we'll be seing every crazy act on the news or in print, most of the time with video.

Ummmm, does no one else think it sounds the least bit fishy that the Dad seemed to have no motive and the Mom survived? If the Dad really were going psycho he'd have probably taken her with him as well.

NOT DEFENDING HIM BY ANY MEANS PLEASE KNOW THAT, but something doesn't sound right there.

According to the news reports, there were witnesses...so that kinda shoots down THAT theory...

Hmmmm. It said nothing of eyewitnesses in the link you provided. I was making my "theory" based off of that information.

Well, there were eyewitnesses according to the TV reports I saw

But were there eyewitnesses on the 15th floor in their room, or did they just see them fall...and land? Most likely, it will be the latter.

It makes sense to me. You have to think twisted.

He was mad at his wife. What could he do to make her life miserable? Kill her children and himself, possibly making her feel responsible.

I dunno, killing the wife might work well too, although there's the prison part.

A woman, few months ago, threw her three kids into SF Bay and they all drowned. She later claims that "God" told her to...

Agreed. I wish we had more positive stories but they don't sell the airtime like somebody's life splattered all over the place.
