Restart and hang with Win98?

Do you have an SBLive? If so, do the following:

Enable LPT Interrupt Sharing in the SB Emulation Device in the device manager.

Disable the DOS SB Emulation in the device manager (optional).

Set IRQ 5 Reserved to Yes in PCI/PNP Resource Exclusion list in the BIOS.

Big IBM hard drive?

There is a patch out there for those, or a shutdown patch from MS.

Also, some systems are just slow to shut down, while appearing to hang, but in about 30 seconds they finaly do. Give it more time.

i found the problem.in the pci configuration i set my own irq's.well i was not using slot1 so i put na in there.i noticed that when i booted it would say na for the graphics card,so i changed it to irq 11 and now everything is fine.right now i am running it at 9x160.i am bringing the mobo to an electronics shop to add multiplier support.man this thing is fast.i ran some sandra
mem benches and i am getting 726/945.this ddr stuff is great.
