i'm gonna get a prebuilt system soon, and the place (meshplc.com) seems to bundle all of these different cards with their systems, which is the best performer? or even better in what order do they come in

64Mb ATI Radeon 8500 DDR - TV Out
64Mb nVIDIA GeForce3 -Ti200 - TV Out
64Mb ATI Radeon R8500 + TV Out
64Mb ATI Radeon R8500 DV (All in Wonder)
64Mb nVIDIA GeForce4 MX440 - TV Out
64Mb ATI Radeon R8500 Dual Head - TV Out
64mb nVidia geforce 3 ti 500 - tvout
64mb nVidia geforce 2 ti -tvout

This is what i would say:

64mb nVidia geforce 3 ti 500 - tvout
64Mb ATI Radeon 8500 DDR - TV Out and 64Mb ATI Radeon R8500 + TV Out and 64Mb ATI Radeon R8500 Dual Head - TV Out (all the same)
64Mb ATI Radeon R8500 DV (All in Wonder)
64Mb nVIDIA GeForce3 -Ti200 - TV Out
64Mb nVIDIA GeForce4 MX440 - TV Out
64mb nVidia geforce 2 ti -tvout

That looks about right, but they should also be divided by features:

Dx8 cards:
64mb nVidia geforce 3 ti 500 - tvout
64Mb ATI Radeon 8500 DDR
64Mb ATI Radeon R8500 DV (All in Wonder)
64Mb nVIDIA GeForce3 -Ti200 - TV Out

Dx7 cards (also, no environmental bump-mapping support, either):
64Mb nVIDIA GeForce4 MX440 - TV Out
64mb nVidia geforce 2 ti -tvout

Any of the cards mentioned in the DirectX 8 category would be a fine addition to a computer, and will last for a long time before becoming outdated (I just bought my Radeon 8500 and I don't intend to buy another graphics card until 2004).

Yeah I'd say:

(fast to slower)
GF3 Ti500
Radeon 8500 (very close behind.)
GF2 Ti200
Radeon DV 8500

Personally, I'd recommend against getting a GF2 Ti or GF 4 MX.

ok, well i'm mainly concerned about gettin a geforce 3 200 or radeon, i just put the others for comparison, so, would any of the radeons beat the ti 200 (looking at benchmarks it seems so), cause i heard one of the radeons is quite slow

The 8500 out performs the TI200 in every test and has more features and better image quality.

even the radeon all in wonder (i heard the tvout slows the card down), does that still at least meat the speed of the ti 200

For the money go with the Radeon 8500, it competes with the ti 500 quite well. Just make sure you buy a retail version made by ATI with a 275Mhz core. I'm a Nvidia fan, but the Radeon 8500 is a great card for the money.

Even the slowest of the R8500's in the All In wonder Radeon 8500DV usually benches on par with the Ti200, and the Radeon 8500 and Radeon8500LE are bhoth clearly faster along with their numerous other advantages over the Ti200.
