Ahh the jetta....isn't there one with a V8 model in europe?
>>

I don't think it is official yet but they do have a VR6 AWD 6spd version. There is supposed to be a version with the W8 motor.

<< How much does it usually cost for springs to lower your car? >>

About $300 for quality ones... or you could go the ghetto ricer way and cut your stock ones... hahaha... so you'll mess up everything along with it.

No thats $300 for the whole set... at least thats the last time i checked... they got even more expensive ones... $500 and up... but thats up to your liking.

Take that car, raise it an inch, take off the extra body styling, change the seats from black to grey leather, and put 16's on it and you have my exact car.....

Happy, depends on the model.... They range from 25-32 base, mine was around 30... The mods prolly added about 4000 (guesstimate) to the cost.

actually.. no.. i believe it's a normal V8. it's for europe's new NASCAR like series... same chassis, same engine.. different bodies.

Actually, that guy made a pretty big modification to his car. Take a look here: Drake's B5.25. Look carefully--the rear end is that of a 2000 Passat. But the front end is that of a 2001.5 and newer Passat! Hence, he calls it a "B5.25." (For those who don't know, around mid-2001, VW started selling the new "facelifted" Passat. Essentially the same platform, but slightly different styling... B5 = 1998-2001 Passat, B5.5 = 2001.5 and newer). His car is actually a 2000 Passat. I believe what happened was he totalled his front end, and decided to rebuild it using the front end of the newer Passats. So instead of the newer circular taillights, he has the square taillights, which some people like better. Also, notice that there's no chrome trim, since it was originally a B5. (Chrome trim is also a new styling cue of the B5.5... again, some people don't like it). It's the only Passat I know of that's like this. Very nice indeed. 😀

Oh, and it cost big buck$ to do this. I think much of it was covered by insurance, which made it for feasible for him to do it. Also, I don't know the guy, I just read the Passat forums a lot, being the owner of one myself. 🙂
