I'm not exactly sure what makes it worth $26k. Is it made from the tears of angels or something?

Booze in Ontario is only sold at government-run stores. And it seems like someone needs to be fired from this one.

Aside from The Beer Store. A lot of vineyards and craft brewers allow you to buy direct from the manufacturer. The LCBO has always been a raw deal for consumers. Keeps prices high and selection low. The current government has been the fattest pig at the trough in living memory. They'll never let their precious cash cow go. Also worth noting that nobody will get fired. OPSEU will see to that. They control the strings of power, it seems. That's my political rant for the day.

Yeah our current government is pretty bad. Don't get me started on the temporary foreign worker BS. We have more than enough people here who are qualified to work and need a job! That program seriously needs to go.

I'd think if they can't sell it, why not hire some guy in a disguise to steal it and then claim the loss?

But I think for a private business to not keep tabs on a 26k is either extremely stupid or it's playing insurance games. It's 26k, not a pack of gum that any kid can snatch or more likely break.
