I guess the moral of the story is if your crazy mom says "hey lets go the range", you should say no. I can't even comprehend how a mental illness could be that strong that you would want to kill your son.

In mental illness - you are often not the one at the wheel. You are just along for the ride. I have a feeling that the woman was deep inside somewhere screaming for the "visible" person to stop and completely powerless to prevent the murder/suicide.

his gf is scarred for life. damn, the mother wanted her to go to the gun range too, but the bf didn't bring her and saved her life.

Its like 5 or so years ago when the "Amber Alert" was the big thing on the news. It seemed like someone was getting kidnapped everyday. In reality, it was nothing new.
 
Another link showed that she already had a suicide note written and claimed that the end of the world was coming and was just trying to save her son. Cameras showed footage up until she pulled the trigger. Damn.

the vid was edited to remove the worst frames. Those two were gone but the guy in the next stall, that had to be terrible. She fell right behind him.🙁
