Fort Worth police have said a man who was camping in the infield died of a "self-inflicted injury" after getting into an argument with other campers. The incident happened late in the Sprint Cup race.

Hmm... I think this is applicable here.

Ankh-Morpork does, however, have an extraordinarily high suicide rate, due mainly to the city's view on what constitutes as suicide. For example, walking alone through the night-time alleyways of the Shades is suicide, as is asking for a short in a dwarf bar. It is very easy to commit suicide in Ankh-Morpork if you are not careful.

GHOST: Revenge his foul and most unnatural murder.
HAMLET: Murder!
GHOST: Murder most foul, as in the best it is;
But this most foul, strange and unnatural.

I'm sure that there was a rule when you bought a ticket for the race stating that you can't have firearms on the track. That's pretty much standard boilerplate now.

Like most gun laws, it was probably ignored. The liberal solution? Create more gun laws 🙂

The conservative solution everyone else pull out their guns and shoot him first. Shows you the solution is somewhere in the middle.

So a quick question.

It appears to be socially correct to laugh at a suicide, but not a murder...is this correct?

Since there are no written rules to this effect I have been getting a lot of shit lately and I am trying to figure it all out. Serious question.

Or is this funny because nobody here knows the guy?

It's only funny to our ever compassionate libertrolls.
