See this is the type of asshat stuff that's going to result in bans. Which is sad because these drones would make great platforms for firefighters to get an aerial view of the forest fire anytime they wanted.

Basically, if you want a real terrorist things someone could put a little C4 and a remote detonator on one and just hover it around a runway at night.

So I was flying my drone today and had to land it for awhile because my airspace became crowded.

He kept circling for a good five minutes. I don't know if he wanted me to take a picture of him, (I was flying without my GoPro) or if he wanted to use it for target practice! 😱

Anyway he had right of way so I wasn't flying with him anywhere in the area.

This pic is from the Royal Marines but there are attachment points on the exterior for recovering downed crew.

How awesome would it be to get in a firefight riding an attack helicopter? Or shoot down some Phantom quad copter? That would be awesome!

On a serious note, perhaps the gunner just wanted practice tracking it. The crew probably haven't had much practice tracking OPFOR quadcopters and it was just used as a training opportunity.
