Man Shoots and Kills 2 y.o. at Burger King

Daniel Moreno, 24, entered a Burger King in Pomona, California, and opened fire, killing a two year old in the process. He fled the restaurant but was killed by police after chanting: "shoot me, shoot me." Police fired after he pulled a gun on them.

Police say they are unclear about what led the man to do this and are conducting toxicology tests to see if drugs were involved. There are rumors that this was a gang related. and gang graffiti saying "RIP Danny Boy" was found at the site he died.

A witness says to Moreno's altercation with police says: "The guy was trying to commit suicide. He wanted to die." Employees of the Burger King fear there will be gang violence at their restaurant because of this event.
