I'd return it. hopefully there's a reward too

I could do a lot with $1 million, so I would be sort of sad returning it, but I would return it.

It would be nice if they gave a reward for it though, because honestly, MrDudeMan, it is pretty moronic or at least irresponsible to be carrying that much valuable stuff around. Unless the people had insurance on it, and were trying to lose the valuables which could be possibly the case (because carrying that much valuable stuff and then momentarily losing it seems suspect). Then they are screwed because if they lose it again, it seems suspect to the insurance. 😉

But I guess the reward of knowing you haven't marred your honesty and dignity is a good enough reward.

 me too

I love all the guys here justifying their theiving ways with comments like

"If they got that much money, they deserve to lose it"
"If they are stupid enough to leave it, they don't need it"
🙁

Let me enlighten you asshats

If it doesn't belong to you and you take it, it's FVCKING STEALING!!!! and stealing is wrong period. It's not OK to steal from rich people, stupid people, old people, or any people period.

With the logic you employ, I guess it's OK to steal from the blind because they can't see what they are missing. Or it's OK to steal from the disabled because they can't use it anyway. I quess it would be OK to steal from just about anybody as long as you properly justify your criminal actions😕

Stfu and get off your high horse. Idiotic people get what they deserve. If that stuff really meant that much to the person then they would not have been carrying it around with them for a stroll in the park. Never mind the fact that she left it on a fvcking park bench.

If your dumb with your money your going to lose it.

ha.

im not on a high horse. people who steal are the lowest scum of nonviolent crimes. it really says a lot about how lazy the person is. you must be a thief to take such offense to my statement.

also, if they choose to have a million dollars worth of stuff and carry it around, that doesnt mean they deserve to lose it. that also isnt being dumb. just because they have money doesnt mean they cant make a mistake. i assume you are human, which means you have also made mistakes. think how terrible it would be for you to lose something so valuable and not ever get it back? i guess asking you to think logically is going to overload your brain and spit out more immature cutdowns, but it was worth a shot.

Finding something != stealing. If I was dumbass enough to leave my ~1100 dollar camera on a park bench then that's my loss and someone elses gain. Lesson learned. Carrying around a purse and contents worth 1,000,000 dollars + leaving it somewhere out in public IS FVKCING STUPID. No matter how you try to spin it.

Sorry if my logic provides me with $1,000,000 and you with a nice pat on the back by a few stupid people who leave their money lying around.

(nice bolding of the grammar errors there buddy, I tried that with yours but it was too time consuming)

You'd have to be stupid not to keep it and sell it for profit. Someone who loses something of that value, especially something more or less non-functional, DESERVES to lose it. In fact, I would go so far as to say they deserve to have it STOLEN and their life extinguished from their bodies in a manner that is untraceable.

Anything to please the laughing mother of anarchy.

Damn! If I ever go to an ATOT meet, I'm checking my pockets before I leave:disgust:
Or better yet, I'll leave my vaulables at home

Actually, come to think of it, if they're that rich and wasteful, maybe they deserve to have their $1 million purse stolen. Those diamonds are soaked in blood anyway.

yip i would return it, its not mine and i didnt earn the money to buy it so it would have no value to me.

 This is exactly how I feel about money. This feeling is something more fundamental and primeval than honesty.

Hmm. That's a touch one. I might have taken the cash out and returned the rest of it. If they can afford to have $1 million in jewlery laying around, that would be their punishment for being stupid. heh.

What kind of idiot walks around with a million dollars worth of ANYTHING in a purse?!:Q

Kudos for him returning it none the less!

Gotta give it back. It would be too easy to trace it back to you if your tried to pawn it or sell it. That said, even if I could sell it and not get caught, I still would give it back. Those damn morals of mine!

The expression "what goes around , comes around" comes to mind as well.

It doesn't surprise me that the person who returned this lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Does San Fran have a monopoly on good, decent people? 😕

With this logic, if you pick up a fiver on the ground and keep it, you're stealing.
