And? I've used CA many times to "stitch" cuts, works great.

Its just a tad bit different when someone who is supposed to be a medical doctor pulls out a $5 tube of glue that I can purchase at any hardware store to close a wound after he has performed a procedure.

Hell, we used duct tape when I was working on an oil rig and it worked great but if I ever saw my doctor pull a roll out I would bolt for the door.
 
Krazy Glue was invented for sealing wounds on the battlefield, or at least that's what everybody says.

As for the homebrew silicone injections, the only thing remotely newsworthy about it is that it's happening in the United States. It's been going on in other countries for decades -- I first heard about it in an HBO documentary about Brazilian transsexuals.
