There is no reasoned debate. Within 2-3 posts in there every thread becomes "democrat vs repub" instead of actually debating the topic and realizing that there are a massive amount of mistakes and problems on both sides that generally contribute to the bigger issues.
 
If you're actually reading and trying to contribute to P&N in a serious fashion you're doing it wrong. P&N is only good for trolling for teh lulz.

The confusing thing is that lots of news is also posted here. It really should be "Politics In The News" which would mean P&N is an inappropriate abbreviation.
