man my net connection is kickin ass tonight (faster than usual)

im pulling down about 1.5MB/s right now on combined torrents, decided to download some new trance/vocal trance stuff....stuff to just chill and listen to...

this is on a rated 10/10 connection, so im pulling down a little faster than what's it's rated at cool isp... i usually get exactly what it's rated at according to speedtest.net or 10.05 sometimes

i think our connection is just "uncapped" as of right now down and up.... a friend just pulled something off of my FTP server at 2MB/s which wold be ~16mbps, but tonight my download isn't doing as great as it was last night, im getting around 12mbps down right now, and it's all over the place, i even scored a few speedtest.net tests at 9mbps down, and then retested about 5 mins later and hit 14mbps down.... it's supposed to be 10/10, we got a free upgrade because we've been with them since they started out cable modem service in our neighborhood, we were beta testers back then, it's 100mbps connection the modem makes to the ISP so im guessing we are already on docsis 3.0... they must just not have enough bandwidth to go around during peak hours.... they offer one higher business connection than the one im subscribed to, which is now according to their site, a 20/10 connection... i wonder if the people who have that connection are getting the same types of speeds i am? i would be mad if i was in their shoes and not hitting the 20mbps down, which it looks like they just cannot provide right now....
