man it's sad how lame these sequels have become, how do they even explain jason vorhees constantly coming back alive again?
and is there a scene in the movie where teens are having sex and then are killed? lol i recall seeing that in every friday the 13th flick i've seen

A few things:

I'm pretty sure that isn't the girl from American Pie (does resemble her though).

Another thing, is it just me or is it always the "last" movie in a corny horror film series takes place in space? We have Leprechaun 4, Critters 4, and now Jason X (there probably were others).

I sure hope they do make a "Jason vs. Freddy" movie. Finally, all of the loose ends left from "Jason Goes to Hell - The Final Friday" and "Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare" can be tied up.

Without giving it away, the movie makes fun of this recurring event in every Jason movie in an absolutely hilarious way. It's the funniest moment in the movie as a matter of fact.

Actually, they also give an explanation (lame or not) of how Jason manages to keep coming back.

It isn't meant to be taken seriously, if like like campy movies you'll love Jason X.
