The word "replica" should be in thread title.:thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

Really, it's BS. I don't know why everyone is so excited. The guy built a junker out of sheet metal. So what. It's not even remotely resembling a lambo inside and maybe only slightly on the outside. It's a crude, ugly contraption.

Was it an awesome project? Yes.
Does the guy deserve praise for making it? Yes.

But the title is extremely misleading and the "car" this guy built has absolutely nothing to do wit ha Lambo short of the shape remote resemblance.

Yea, agree, "built from parts from a Nissan van and a VW" LOL, it's burning a ton of oil, has no lighting system or dashboard even. Very creative use of junk parts but the only resemblance to a Lambo is it has 4 wheels.. :D

I know this professor who was stranded on an island with 6 other castaways and built a nuclear reactor out of a couple of coconuts. True story.

Agreed. They ruined a cool story by putting a misleading headline on it.

:\ Would any rational human being believe he built an actual Lambo? For $10k? Really??? I need to put replica in the title?

I used the exact same title MSN used.

Sees headline - "Wow, only $10k?"
Clicks article - "Wow, that cost $10k?"

Yeah I think the $10k should be used to rent a Lambo in Vegas, while two hookers snort lines of coke off my boner.

10k should have resulted in something that at least looked finished. I think the guy was just not very skilled and blew a bunch of money on shit that didn't work out.

Any person with an IQ above 70 would know the difference between an actual $2million Lamborghini Reventón and that $10k homemade replica shown in the article, if and when they read it.

Here's a better replica kit starting at about $33k.
