I feel your pain. I wanted to fly to london for that weekend for floyd alone, but then I found you needed tickets and only UK citizens were eligible.:(

floyd is good. but id much rather enjoy them at home on surround sound with nice speakers then going to a cess pool floyd concert.

While speakers are aplenty in this world, The concert experience is something that I will probably never be able to get...

Awww.... if it is any consolation, i have been to at least four ...that i can remember. ;)

so at least you know someone who has been. better than nothing.

and not to worry... they have had so many farewell tours... there is bound to be another.

I saw Pink Floyd twice back before Roger Waters left the band... I had 25th row floor seats in Madison Square Garden for The Wall concert & its one of the best shows I ever saw of any kind, also saw them on the Wish you were here tour in one of the first concerts I went to.
I've seen Floyd twice since without Roger Waters (both times in Giant Stadium) & although it was good, it couldn't compare to the original... saw Roger Waters solo too & also enjoyed it, but it was a little depressing.. the music was great but the concert had a somber theme.
