guy has it listed on CL for 2300 bucks... its a 2003, when I was younger that was the sled I wanted, I still want it...problem is I don't have anywhere to store it. and the winters have been shit lately, so use would be minimal :(.

I COULD store it at my uncles place in Wisconsin..............tempting. TEMPTING.

should I buy it

I would'nt buy it if i am not going to use it regularly & no place to store it. I've got too much crap at my house as it is which was hardly or once used items.

yeah...but if I store it at my uncles super ginormous shed in wisconsin, I wont have to worry about the space.

other thing is I do not own a truck to tow it with, so my dad will do that for me...which he would not mind doing for me. I could use my uncles cabin as my base camp when I sled off...IF there is ever snow...he has like 4 sleds himself.

If you will use it, buy it.

If you won't, then don't buy it.

simple.

It is simple logic, I would use it..but with the way winters have been around here...I will only get to use it once or twice :(:(

Sleds are fun as hell if you can ride them. They are getting more and more expensive, though, because they aren't the greatest in mileage. Add that with shitty winters and it's tough. I'm from Minnesota and we have to plan trips to Upper Michigan to do any riding.

Riding = :) Truck with big trailer and 4 sleds driving long distances to get to snow= :(

yes snipe, I know...this is why we my parents got rid of our sleds a few years ago :(. Our cabin in Wisconsin was not getting hit with much snow...and going up to the UP was costly.

now if I had some friends locally that would trailer up together...that would be cheap!! Let us group up and you can tow mine for me, and ill foot half the gas bill to/from the UP ^_^

Can you afford it without going into debt?
If you can, and you plan to use it, then get it!

<--- moved to a house less than 300 ft from a marked sled trail last winter .. have to pay off some debt then I sure as hell plan on buying a sled :)

ahhh, lucky bastard! I used to do 3000-4000 miles a winter with my parents, when I lived there...It has been about 5-6 years since I had gone last, and I would love to pick it up again. I used to do some small amateur racing, water skipping, etc...but its been a while, haha.

My only issue is that I'm in IL, last winter would have been great, but there can be some really dry/warm winters here ....

Same burnitdown...we get no snow, or 1-2 inches, and its melted...5-6 inches, and its melted...or when you get up on the weekends, they are already beat to hell!
