Man, I do this from time to time but I have no idea why...

I got home from work about 8am Friday morning, did some stuff around the house, and crashed about 10am. I didn't wake up until 8am this morning!

Anyone elese ever have giant sleeps like this?

My record is 28 hours...:Q

Nope, night audit/accounting at a local hotel. Been working 11pm- 7am for the past 13 years, so somethime I think my body "catches up".

I don't have anyone here to wake me up either, so I can sleep as long as I like.

I work nights too and this happens to me also.
I finally went to sleep @2:30 pm yesterday and slept off and on until about 7:00am this morning.
Happens to alot of people I work with also.
How many hours you sleep through the week while working probably has something to do with it .
I seem to only get about 3-4 hours a day while working.

Yeah, during the week I usually only get about 5 hours of sleep, even though I can sleep longer..I just wake up..
