I bought a Fujitsu S Series from Global Computers last Saturday. Since they do FedEx 2nd day, I figure I would get the laptop on Wednesday.
I get a call Monday, saying that they we out of stock. Instead, they would ship it directly from Fujitsu and notify me when it is shipped. On Wednesday they called me, saying that that order to Fujitsu has been sent, and I will be receiving an email with the FedEx tracking number. I call them Friday afternoon (b/c I didn't get a tracking number), and was told Fujitsu has been halting all orders b/c of some Japanese holiday in which (apparently) the whole company is taking a week off (Why a multinational company would do this is beyond my comprehension).
I was really looking forward to playing with my laptop and setting up my wireless network, but I guess that will have to wait. I hope it comes in before school starts though (surfing on the toilet
